This season’s focus is on Asia’s simple green solutions. Episode 1 is on:

The Saving Gaia website is not updated so there’s not much details about the new series nor any new provocative advertisement.

Red Dot Goes Green

Red Dot Goes Green is a documentary by The Right Angle Media and shown on Channel NewsAsia (CNA) every Wed at 8:30 pm. The documentary explores the various efforts by the government, companies, universities and people in going green. The first episode introduced a green temple and efforts in greening the building facade. The second episode introduced the recycling of electronic waste, reusing construction debris for new buildings, and the operation of our incineration plants and landfill. The third episode to be shown tomorrow focuses on water. Remember to catch it at CNA.

Once Upon a Tree – Tides and Coastlines

onceuponatree.jpgOnce Upon a Tree was an eight-part television series shown by Arts Central about two years ago. The show was hosted by Dr Shawn Lum and he takes us on a journey to explore the trees in Singapore and how we interact with them. We loved the show for its well-crafted stories, insightful tips and the experienced Dr Shawn Lum (we think he has the voice and knowledge to be the local David Attenborough).

Season Two of Once Upon a Tree is back and this time the theme is on Tides and Coastlines. Dr Shawn Lum is back as the wonderful host who explores and shares with us the waters and marine life in Singapore. The show debuts today at Arts Central, 9:30pm. Remember to watch it tonight.
