Singapore Green Landscape 2010 gives an overview of the various non-governmental organisations (NGOs), green groups, business associations and groups, green websites, government agencies, and institutes and centres in Singapore, which are related to the environment.
We hope that the publication is useful for everyone who wishes to find and connect with the environmental organisations in Singapore, and explore personal and business opportunities.
The publication is free for download here. Feel free to share this.
Welcome to AsiaIsGreen
Welcome to the new revamped AsiaIsGreen, an online green resource guide published by Green Future Solutions. AsiaIsGreen provides a wide range of resources for you to increase your awareness and understanding of the environment in Singapore and Asia, and to inspire you to take action.
We understand that Asia faces great challenges in protecting its environment as it develops economically. The people in Asia are beginning to be aware of their impacts on the environment and they wish for economic prosperity without harming the planet.
A green future for the world would be impossible without the participation of Asia. Everyone in Singapore and Asia must do their part for the environment. Learn more. Take action. Spread the message. Do what we can.

We look forward to an exciting year ahead with some changes to our business, Green Future Solutions, and our blogs – AsiaIsGreen, Green Business Times and Zero Waste Singapore.
We will be upgrading our existing blogs to WordPress 2.7 and using the new Revolution Two theme over the next few weeks, so do expect some technical problems when visiting our sites.
In the next few weeks, we will also complete our corporate website for Green Future Solutions (finally) and articulate our vision of a Green Future, which is Bright, Enough, Local, Simple, Social and Whole.
In 2009, we also have plans to start another 2 blogs on climate change and LOHAS. So continue to visit our sites for updates and new posts. See you next year!

What’s Next for AsiaIsGreen
AsiaIsGreen is one-year old and we would like to thank all our readers for their support. For the next few months and the new year ahead, we will focus on the following 3 initiatives:
1. More Green News and Thoughts from Asia
We want to focus on our original idea for setting up AsiaIsGreen, a place to share green news and thoughts by Asians or those staying in Asia. We want the people in Asia to share about their environmental problems, ideas, solutions and thoughts. We want to connect and inspire everyone in Asia to take action and work towards a green future. And we want to tell the world that there are people in Asia doing their part for the planet too. Read more
AsiaIsGreen takes a break
AsiaIsGreen turns one-year old next month and it’s time to plan for changes and new direction. We are taking time off to plan for AsiaIsGreen’s second year and also to travel around Asia for more inspiration. We are also reading The Death of Environmentalism by Michael Shellenberger and Ted Nordhaus, and Is Environmentalism Dead? by Adam Werbach, to understand their relevance to the current green movement in Asia. So, you will probably not find updates and activities till Oct. If you have any ideas or suggestions on how we can improve AsiaIsGreen, do let us know. Meanwhile, continue to check out our previous articles or visit our sister site at Green Business Times.

Green Business Times goes live today! Green Business Times, created by Green Future Solutions, is an online resource to help businesses in Singapore go green and reduce their impact on the environment. With increasing environmental problems around the world, it’s time for companies to recognise their environmental responsibility while making profits.
Our aim is to provide environmental information and resources for companies, business leaders and professionals to take action in reducing their environmental impacts and implementing green business strategies and practices. Our resources are also useful for schools, governmental organisations, non-governmental organisations, academics and other interested parties who wish to understand more about business and the environment.
